Last year we met Dan at the Home Show and was intrigued by the idea we could control the quality and energy efficiency of the new home we were preparing to build.
We talked with several other companies who provided similar services but they all fell short of the complete systems or whole house approach. Dan graciously and patiently walked us and our builder through each step of the process.
Our home is 3100Sq/ft with a bonus room over the garage. We have now been in our total electric home 4 months with our highest total bill at $155.00. We could not be more pleased and look forward seeing our yearly utility average come this November.
Our construction and product choices were:
Cellulose Insulation, .29 U-value windows, insulated slab,
Solar board roof decking, complete caulking and sealing package and an EarthLinked Geothermal system for the main house plus a Mitsubishi mini split for the bonus room. Jeff Williamson of Choice Heating & Air was our HVAC contractor.
What is really amazing is the comfort level we experience compared to our old house. Our friends and family also notice a huge difference. No more hot and cold spots with less than 2 degrees difference from one side of our home to the other.

I retrofitted my 2100 foot home with Earth linked. My energy bills dropped from 200.00 to 140.00 a month. I replaced all of my windows with polar wall windows which lowered my bills another $20.00 a month. My next project is to add cellcluse insualtion.
